"We moved our insurance from a State Farm Agent in Monroe, GA to Hovis in Loganville. We made a decision due to multiple increases in our rates to change to Allstate. The Allstate Agency contacted Hovis Insurance to notify them of the change and cancellation of our Policy. They did not respond to the initial contact and has failed to respond to our Allstate Agent who has tried to contact them as Hovis Agency is trying to double bill us as we had changed to Allstate. This is not permitted to have double coverage with 2 Insurance Carriers. Apparently they don't know this. I would not recommend this Agency. In reply to the response from Michael Hovis: I have called your office and spoken to Alexandria. I got absolutely no resolution to this issue. My Allstate Agent has also tried to reach your office with no response. You cannot ignore a request from a Agency advising that we have moved to them and to cancel our policy. That is what your Agency has done. Please respond to the Allstate Agency who is trying to contact you to get this resolved. Our Policy cancelled 09-22-2025. Stop trying to double bill us as we cannot be insured with State Farm and Allstate."
